The Role of Non-Governmental Higher Education Institutions in Contemporary Educational Systems and their Economic Impact

Non-governmental higher education institutions (NGHEIs) in Uzbekistan contribute to the diversification of the
education system and the improvement of its quality. These institutions play a significant role in preparing highly qualified
specialists through academic freedom, the use of modern technologies, and international cooperation. Non-governmental
universities adapt to market demands and implement innovative approaches, elevating the educational process to a new
level. They train professionals in information technology, entrepreneurship, and other fields, thereby making a substantial
contribution to the development of the national economy. However, financial constraints, compliance with educational
standards, and competitiveness issues remain obstacles to their development.
