This article examines the methodological foundations of organizing the educational process for pre-service
teachers based on a competency-based approach. It highlights the principles, structural components, and pedagogical
strategies required for developing both professional and key competencies in teacher education. The paper proposes a
competency-oriented instructional model that integrates theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and reflective experience.
It further outlines the expected outcomes of implementing this approach in teacher training institutions
