The article examines the linguodidactic foundations that support the development of professional competence
within practice-oriented language education. In contemporary higher education, the growing emphasis on applied
learning models has increased the need for instructional frameworks that integrate linguistic, communicative, and professionally
relevant skills. The study conceptualizes linguodidactics as an interdisciplinary field connecting language pedagogy,
cognitive development, and professional training. Particular attention is given to the mechanisms through which
authentic tasks, experiential learning, and domain-specific discourses enhance learners’ readiness for real professional
contexts. Analysis shows that practice-oriented approaches foster deeper vocabulary acquisition, functional communicative
competence, and domain-based problem-solving skills. The study concludes that aligning language instruction with
professional scenarios strengthens learning efficiency and promotes learners’ autonomy, adaptability, and professional
identity within their chosen specialisations.
