The article highlights the effectiveness of traditional educational approaches in forming sufficient competencies
among students in complex technical processes in the field of hydropower, automation of energy installations, and decision-
making in accordance with environmental and economic requirements, as well as the necessity of integrating such
methods as interdisciplinary integration into the educational process, project-based learning, problem-based learning,
and defining the form and content of teaching specialized disciplines based on an integrated approach.
