Аннотация

The continuous advancement of digital technologies has significantly reshaped written communication in
contemporary society. Digitalization has introduced a wide range of tools, platforms, and communicative practices that
influence how written texts are produced, interpreted, and disseminated. As a result, writing has become more immediate,
interactive, and adaptable to different contexts and audiences. This study examines the impact of digitalization on
writing, with a particular focus on its linguistic, structural, and cognitive dimensions. It explores how digital environments
contribute to the emergence of new language forms, multimodal communication, and flexible writing conventions while
also affecting the way individuals process information and develop written expression. Although digital communication
enhances accessibility, efficiency, and opportunities for creativity and collaboration, it also raises important concerns
regarding the decline of formal writing standards, reduced attention to coherence and accuracy, and the potential weakening
of critical thinking skills. Therefore, it is essential to maintain a balanced approach that integrates the benefits of
digital technologies with the continued development of effective and academically appropriate writing skills
