This article analyzes the lexical transformations used in the prose works of Abdulla Qahhor. The study examines
the main strategies used in the translation process to preserve the meaning, style, and cultural aspects of words and
phrases, such as modulation, generalization, specification, transliteration, and cultural substitution. The main aim of the
research is to determine how these transformations affect the content and artistic features of the text. The results show
that translators primarily focus on conveying meaning accurately and ensuring readability; however, in some cases, stylistic
and cultural nuances are partially lost. This article highlights the importance of lexical transformations in translation
theory and practice
