Аннотация

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into language education has created new opportunities for improving
students’ writing skills. This study investigates the effectiveness of AI-based tools in enhancing the writing competence of
non-philological students. The research is grounded in communicative and process-oriented writing approaches. AI tools
such as Grammarly and ChatGPT were employed to support students in drafting, revising, and editing their written texts.
A mixed-method research design was applied, involving pre-test and post-test procedures, classroom observations, and
student feedback analysis. The results demonstrate that AI tools significantly improve students’ grammatical accuracy,
coherence, and lexical diversity. Moreover, students show increased motivation and autonomy in the writing process. The
study highlights the pedagogical potential of AI in modern language teaching and provides practical recommendations for
integrating AI tools into writing instruction
