The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed educational practices worldwide.
In the field of English language teaching, AI-powered technologies have created new opportunities for improving
language instruction, personalizing learning experiences, and enhancing student engagement. This article examines the
role of artificial intelligence in English language teaching and learning. The study analyzes the benefits, challenges, and
pedagogical implications of integrating AI tools into language education. The findings suggest that artificial intelligence
can support learners’ language development by providing immediate feedback, adaptive learning environments, and
increased access to authentic language resources. However, effective implementation requires careful pedagogical planning
and teacher training.
