Mazkur maqolada probatsiya nazoratidagi shaxslarni ijtimoiy moslashtirishda psixologik xizmatning o‘rni va
samaradorligi nazariy jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot davomida xalqaro ilmiy yondashuvlar, xususan, “Xavf – ehtiyoj –
moslashuv” modeli, kognitiv-xulq-atvor yondashuvi hamda “Sifatli (mazmunli) hayotga yo‘naltirilgan reabilitatsiya” modeli
konsepsiyalari asosida psixologik xizmatning retsidiv xulq-atvorni kamaytirishdagi ijtimoiy-psixologik mexanizmlari yoritilgan.
Shuningdek, O‘zbekiston Respublikasining probatsiya tizimiga oid normativ-huquqiy hujjatlari asosida psixologik
xizmatning institutsional o‘rni tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot natijasida probatsiya nazoratidagi shaxslarning ijtimoiy moslashuvi
ko‘p bosqichli jarayon ekanligi hamda psixologik xizmat diagnostik, korreksion, motivatsion va reabilitatsion komponentlarni
o‘z ichiga oluvchi integratsiyalashgan mexanizm sifatida namoyon bo‘lishi asoslab berilgan. Maqolada psixologik
xizmat samaradorligini oshirishning ustuvor yo‘nalishlari ham taklif etilgan.
