A CONTENT-STRUCTURAL TYPOLOGY OF DIGITAL LEARNING MATERIALS FOR DEVELOPING INFORMATION AND MEDIA COMPETENCE IN THE EFL CLASSROOM

The article proposes a typology of digital learning materials organised by the competence affordances a material offers rather than by its technical format. The study responds to a practical difficulty reported by teachers: authentic digital sources are abundant, but there is no principled basis for deciding which source supports which learning objective, with the result that selection is governed by topic and linguistic difficulty alone.Ключевые слова
