Violence against children remains a serious global problem that negatively affects their psychological wellbeing,
development, and social adaptation. Effective child protection systems require integrated socio-psychological
mechanisms that combine prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation services. This article analyzes the socio-psychological
mechanisms of child protection from violence through a comparative review of international experience and the
practice of Uzbekistan.
The findings indicate that effective child protection systems are based on multidisciplinary cooperation, early intervention,
psychosocial support, and child-centered approaches. Recent reforms in Uzbekistan have strengthened the institutional
and legal foundations of child protection, while further development of specialized psychological services remains necessary.
