This article examines the theoretical and practical foundations of the psychodiagnostics and psychocorrection
of students’ thinking processes. The study analyzes the developmental characteristics of abstract thinking, metacognitive
abilities, and critical thinking during adolescence. Psychodiagnostic methods for assessing students’ systemic, logical,
and creative thinking are classified.
Based on the findings of an experimental study, the effectiveness of the psychocorrectional program “Social Thinking
and Me” is evaluated. The study also substantiates the pedagogical and psychological conditions necessary for fostering
independent and critical thinking and highlights the role of innovative educational approaches in enhancing students’
cognitive development. The findings have substantial practical significance for practicing psychologists, educators, and
school professionals.
