The paper explores the development of cognitive and communicative competencies in primary education,
focusing on the strategies implemented by developed countries like Finland, Singapore, and South Korea. These countries’
pedagogical approaches, curriculum designs, and teaching methodologies are analyzed to understand how they
foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills in young learners. The paper also discusses how these
strategies can be adapted to other educational contexts to improve primary education globally (Harris, 2024; Tan & Lee,
2024).
